Popular holiday destinations that you've never been to and have no interest in visiting?

I'll start:
BERLIN. Just looks gimmicky and full of hipsters and able to get the exact same nightlife experience visiting Shoreditch or Brixton.
CANCUN. Dunno anyone who's been who hasn't been heavily disappointed. 90% male and 90% yanks.
INDIA (CITIES). Almost everyone even the most open minded and off the beaten track types talk of filth everywhere, constant hassle and food poisoning. Indians themselves seem to absolutely hate Delhi. Met a woman once who said she got sexually assaulted not once but twice on public transport
IRELAND. Its just England but shitter weather, ain't it?
Any more for any more? Feel free to try and change each others minds. Sensible discussion only please.
This is relevant to West Ham cos we might get one of these places in a pre season or something.

Same rules as alcohol ak.No drinking or smoking in public places Although you can smoke a cigarette on the streets.Cops usually turn a blind eye to weed though as long as you don’t smoke it right in front of them.They’ll make you throw away a beer though if you’re walking down the street with one.
These rules change county to county.

Overall a pretty good place to visit.Napa and the surrounding wine counties are beautiful places although they’re pretty non eventful in the evening.San Francisco is good for about 3 to 4 days but the homeless problem is pretty bad(worse than usual),but don’t let that deter you,just stay away from affected areas.Being a big fan of the tropical tobacco I can say the weed clubs are pretty cool(think you might need a California I.D to enter?)Climate’s nice,food’s excellent,people are laid back and friendly.
Don’t come anytime soon though.Although we have relatively low C19 numbers,(we were the first state to shutdown)they don’t seem to be in any hurry to re-open fully.

Never been to the south of Thailand but Bangkok is a hot, polluted shithole.
I've spent the last 6 months here thanks to the virus. Yes, it is somewhat, but it's still a good place in other ways. I feel lucky I went through lock down, curfew and alcohol ban here rather than go through the ongoing botched effort in the UK. Everything is nearly normal now. I was actually en route to live in Melbourne, which is just as bad. No idea when I'll make it. As long as the govt renew the visa amnesty for stranded tourists, I can suffer it.

I first went there in '89. It's a lot cleaner and nicer now than it was then! Sitting at a restaurant by the river then was a bit like sitting next to a large open sewer.
The heat is the same though.

I liked driving through the mountains in the north though. Very pleasant part of the world.

Mashed.Vegas has regular bars outside of the strip and Fremont Street.I was there last weekend,the place is at 20%,which was perfect.

Disneyland, that would drive me fucking insane
I've been to Tokyo Disneyland twice just for a day out, that was soul destroying enough on both occasions so fuck knows how bad it would be if it was all in English.
Seeing the hordes going nuts on a shopping frenzy buying total utter shite in the gift shop full of Disney merchandise ranks almost as high as a trip to IKEA does in the "fuck where did my life go wrong and what am I doing here?" stakes.

Basically anywhere that you night have to pay to sit on a beach only to.be pestered by cunts trying to prise money off you.for tat.
I'd prefer to hang out on a freezing cold foggy saltmarsh..or go up a mountain in the pissing rain.

Fuck it, I'm going to book a holiday in Syria, lie down on my hotel bed and watch the stars and Russian helicopters overhead.

Vegas was definitely a contradiction - the wows from the massive hotels and the Grand Canyon, then the seedier side at night when it felt more like Blackpool. Just watching the rides at the top of the Stratosphere made my stomach do somersaults - god knows how you get the nerve to actually go on one!
Lots of people rave about Turkey but the thought of it just leaves me cold for some reason.
India and Africa have also long been top of the not interested list.
